Art Deco Eggs

Mission accomplished to stand out in the Egg Shelf. Kronägg, owned by Swedish and Danish Egg Producers, established already in the 1930s. This is just one of a whole collection of Premium Eggs.

Package Icon goes Art

Khadia Ulumbekova, based in Moscow, designed this beautiful gigantic bottle for Coca Cola. It has been presented at events and festivals in Moscow, and was a part of the contest ”125 of years of happines” by Coca Cola. To be found at museum ‘World of Coca-cola’ in Atlanta.

Water-shaped Bottles

The water-shaped bottle by Xiaoli Wen. He has created a series of porcelain bottles shaped by a waterfall. He made silicone rubber moulds of discarded plastic and glass bottles, the moulds were filled with plaster and cured while hanging under flowing water. A small number of bottles were selected which people casually discarded into rivers – bottles of mineral water, Coca-Cola, beer, whisky and gin

Here are words from the designer: ”Water does not have its own shape. It is shaped by its container. Now water wants to change the container’s shape therefore to decide its shape by itself. It is a philosophical thinking about active or passive, change or be changed.” Via Dezeen and MarteLouise.

Happy Day

Almost one month later and I am back online. Will start with a package I found at Galleria Civica di Modena. It’s a package with a daily dose of good mood. With the old-fashion glass bottle you get a unique comic strip and a positive thought on a small note. The project is a play with empathy - with a refreshing touch of irony. I like the design which is breathing pop art. Cinzia Muscolino, is the artist behind it - born in Messina, where she lives and works, since 1974. Produced by Gigimedici Sassuolo.
