Nexus Productions has created this DVD packaging in collaboration with Julia. In the development they have spent time looking into more sustainable materials than the classic plastic case. And ended up with 100% recyclable cardboard, very nice and clean look. Source: The Dieline
The Ear phones from Sennheiser are packaged in 100% Recyclable Cardboard. It also appears easier to open than the freaking plastic packaging.
This is a conceptual battery package I found in the student Craig Stangwar’s portfolio on Coroflot. The pack releases a new battery only when a used one is inserted. When the package is full of used batteries, you just send it back to the manufacturer (hopefully with a stamp already on the package). The manufacturer has the right tools to recycle or re-use the battery in the most efficient way. Interesting idea where the package helps the recycling procedure.
